So, Dear One, you get to consider:

Are you ready to become an Initiate in the journey to become a Priestess of Isis, AND part of the Quimera Ritual Dance community?

• This is an answer to the beckoning you may be feeling... to commune with the Divine Feminine via the Goddess Isis and other Egyptian goddesses (and sometimes gods;) and discover your relationship with her, and with your personal spiritual path.

• As a result of this training you have the potential to become a more Intuitive, Vibrant, and Confident person, which will then ripple into any and all parts of your life.

• You will be an Initiate of the Iseum of Quimera, via the Embodied Priestess Training. The Iseum of Quimera is a mystery school to study and become a Priestess of Isis. It is also a lineage of dance-as-healing and Ritual Performance.

• Once Ordained, you are invited to participate as much as you like for the years and lifetime to follow, for no additional fees (beyond what all Quimera members pay for retreats and other special opportunities).

• You will learn to embody (and teach if you wish) the Quimera Method, created by master teacher and dance therapist Rev. Priestess Anandha Ray.

• You will be officially, legally ordained as a Reverend Priestess, able to perform weddings, death rites, etc. AND be trained in wisdom and practices in serving as a Priestess with the Medicine of Movement.

Please take your time reading and assimilating this info and also keep in mind that more details will solidify, and have more context for you, as the journey unfolds.

Also, please know this is sacred commitment, and you are expected to attend all of it, on time, and with ready energy. Of course absences are ok’d on a case-by-case basis if they are due to serious illness/death-of-loved one, or other such emergency OR you plan ahead to miss 1-2 classes all year. You will be held to high integrity in all aspects.

Our journey in this year-long Initiation will include THIS SCHEDULE:

FIRST, HERE IS A SIMPLIFIED BREAKDOWN OF THE VIRTUAL MEETING SCHEDULE, WHICH MAKES UP THE BULK OF OUR TRAINING. It will be every 1st and 3rd Thursday. If there is a 5th Thursday in a month we will not meet:

MEETINGS: 2x/MONTH:

-First Thursdays 3:15-7:30pm PST (We officially start at 3:30pm, but it is a requirement of your training year to arrive 15 early. Talk to me if that is absolutely not possible and you can get clearance to arrive 3:30pm):

3:15-5:30 pm with Eden

5:45-7:30 pm Quimera Ceremony with all Priestesses

7:30-8 pm (optional) question and answer with Anandha

-Third Thursdays 4:15-7:30 pm PST (We officially start at 4:30pm, but it is a requirement of your training year to arrive 15 early. Talk to me if that is not possible and you can get clearance to arrive 4:30pm):

4:15-6 pm with Eden

6-7:30 pm with Anandha

———>NOW, HERE IS THAT SAME SCHEDULE BROKEN DOWN AND DETAILED MORE, PLUS OTHER DATES AND RETREATS:

• OCT (2023), you have the encouraged OPTION to attend the Ordination of this year’s Priestesses, at Isis Oasis (in Geyserville, Ca) on Oct 8th. There, you will be given the Blessing of the Way & Welcoming Ritual.

  *If you cannot attend this in-person it is ok and we will do the Blessing & Welcoming via zoom, either on that day or another one after it, TBD.

• Welcome & Cuffing Ceremony with Eden and Anandha (and potentially other Priestesses who are there live or via zoom). TBD, but likely during a Quimera Council Call.
  You receive a Welcoming ritual, with beautiful silver bracelets/cuffs. (These will be mailed to you if you can’t be there in person). You begin your path as an initiate in the Temple of Isis!

• STARTING Oct 19th THURSDAY. (This date may change if there are extenuating circumstances but this is the plan).

  -3:15-5:30pm (PST) on the 1st Thurs of every month

  -4:15-6pm on the 3rd Thurs of every month.

  This is the training time with just Eden and your fellow Initiates. Again, this is 2 times a month total for 2 HRS, and is via Zoom. These are:

  Embodied Priestess Training Sessions
  To be ordained, it is required to attend monthly sessions to receive your training to:

  • Learn Wisdom Teachings- This includes learning about Isis and the Egyptian Pantheon, ceremonial practices from varying lineages, as well as learning to re-parent yourself through examining and shifting your thought patterns and subconscious beliefs.

  • Gather and Learn about Spiritual Tools (altar items, oracle deck, crystals, essential, oils, feather fans, athame, etc)

  • Experience other components of Quimera Method

    • Waking Dreams

    • Movement Landscapes

    • Solar Circles

  • As time allows and tailored to the group, you will also experience components of Embody Your Essence, (the body of work developed by Eden), which include:

    • The Clearing Method

    • The Embody Your Essence movement practices, including use of Affirmations and Sensual Movement

    • Forgiveness Practices, Manifestation Work, and other Personal Transformation tools

      ALSO:

• EVERY FIRST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH, FOR THE YEAR, starting NOV 2nd, 5:45-7:30pm(PST), via Zoom:

  1st Thursdays Quimera Ceremony/Council Call (Teachings & Movement Ceremonies):
  You will join the Iseum of Quimera in monthly gatherings to explore the Wisdom Teachings and go into movement ceremonies with each other. Opportunity to be gathered with, and taught by, Anandha and the Ordained Priestesses from previous years. This will be followed by an optional question and answer time with Anandha from 7:30-8pm.

  AND:

• EVERY THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH: starting NOV 16th, 6-7:30pm (PST), via Zoom:

  Learn to teach Intuitive Technique, from the Quimera Method, with Rev. Priestess Anandha Ray

  • You are not required to teach IT as a Priestess of the Iseum of Quimera, however learning to teach it opens the gateway to understand the full embodiment of the Medicine of Movement.

    AND, THE IN-PERSON RETREATS:

    NOTE: There will be OPTIONAL weekend in-person immersions, for an additional fee (roughly $300), which you will receive the details of. Following info are the 2 REQUIRED:

• WEEK-LONG IN JUNE 25th-30th 2024- in person retreat:

  Sacred SOURCE-ery
  Sacred SOURCE-ery is an annual gathering of the Iseum of Quimera where our community strengthens the bonds as Priestesses on the journey together. We hold a community meeting, offer each other teachings to enable our growth together, and create a performance that is often offered for the public. It is mostly led by Anandha Ray.

  *You are required attend this once, to complete your training, and after that they are annual, and always open to you as an option. This retreat includes and is not limited to:

  • Medicine Journey (a meditation experience with or without sacred Plant Medicine)

  • Preparations/rehearsals for end-of-retreat Performance

  • Your live practice-teaching of Intuitive Technique to the group

  • Movement Classes and Teachings from Anandha

  • Communing with the land and with your fellow Initiates and Priestesses

  • Performing a movement ritual

• WEEK OF OCTOBER 7th-14th 2024- in person retreat:

  Convocation Week & Your Ordination Weekend at Isis Oasis

  • Osiris Journey (a meditation experience with or without sacred Plant Medicine).

  • Preparations for Convocation Performance

  • Preparations for Ordination

  • Movement Classes and Teachings from Anandha

  • Once Convocation begins, assisting workshops that are offered by Temple Of Isis members

  • Communing with the land and with your fellow Initiates and Priestesses

  • Performing a movement ritual Convocation Performance

  • Being Ordained!

SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER:

*For all Zoom sessions you need to be ON TIME. This is so important for your training year that we start your sessions 15 mins early and enact a late fee, which you will learn more about. Also, please be in place where you can be on video, present, focused, and undisturbed. You will also need at least the amount of space to be able to swing your arms and legs and turn in a circle while dancing, but more space is ideal.

*This is a special opportunity to practice devotion- both to yourself and the path! Unforeseen crises and life situations are taken into account, yet your dedication to being at all sessions, completing all that is asked of you, and completing the training is important.

*There will be homework, reading, and regular practices assigned and expected of you outside of the Zoom sessions. These take anywhere from 1 to several hours per week.

*In-person retreats may become virtual if pandemic situation affects them (quite unlikely at this point).

*If you live out of the area you are being required to travel to the 2 in-person retreats. As mentioned above: There will be more opportunities to gather in person with cohort, and be taught by Anandha and other teachers within Quimera, but these will be optional.

*I love you! As long as you stay in communication, I will do anything I can to support you. If for example: you need to make a late payment, need to be late or miss a session, are struggling personally, are grappling with the material we are covering, etc. I’m here to make sure you get the very most out of your Initiation. <3

Requirements to be Ordained include:

• Completing all required activities and hours of your training.

• Recommendation by your sponsor (Eden) to the Temple that you are ready. (It is a rare case that someone is not recommended after they've completed training, but the right is reserved to not recommend you and/or discontinue your training if there are blaring difficulties with you as a fit to become Priestess. You would be made aware of these well before Ordination.)

• Convocation application and fee. (A small sum).

• Spiritual Biography (a 1 page poetic piece I help you write).

• Spiritual tools of the Temple of Isis and Quimera (I will guide you to make or acquire. These are also a minor expense on your part).

  • Crown

  • Athame/Wand

  • Book of Illuminated Shadows

  • Stole (will be given to you)

  • Cuffs and Collar (will be given to you)

PRICING: 

Priestess training of this caliber and depth, including 2 retreats would easily run the range of $10,00 to over $20,000. In Quimera we are a service organization. So, the fee has been created to be as financially inclusive as possible, while also fairly compensating (at a minimum) the time and dedication offered by me (and the other teachers). If needed, I’m here to support you with ideas around fundraising, and other ways to make your participation possible. So,:

This year-long Embodied Priestess Training is $6,800, which can be paid as a lump sum or as monthly payments.

Beginning in Oct, a deposit of $567 is to be paid in addition to the first month’s payment ($567). This means you will pay $1,134 for your deposit and first month, which leaves $5,666 to be paid over the course of the next 10 months. This is $567 per month, to be paid on or before the 15th of the month. If you prefer 2 payments a month it will be $283.50 on the 1st and $283.50 on the 15th.

For your first payment, I would like at least the deposit amount on or by Oct 1st. Your choice whether to include the first month payment also on the 1st or on/by the 15th.

Note: You may arrange ahead of time to pay-in-full, or in larger chunks throughout the year (such as quarterly), if that is your preference.

If the deposit is a hardship for you, we can also talk about reducing the initial payment and then factoring the difference into your monthly payments. Please only request this if there is not a way you can create to make the deposit happen.

PLEASE NOTE: The total does not include your travel, but does include your dorm-style lodging and food for 2 retreats. THE CONVOCATION RETREAT ENDS WITH A REQUIRED LONG WEEKEND HOSTED BY ISIS OASIS DURING WHICH YOU ARE ORDAINED. THIS WILL BE PAID SEPERATELY TO ISIS OASIS AND WILL BE $300-$500.

As mentioned above, the total also doesn’t include fairly minor expenses of convocation fee, 2 books to be read during the year, and of gathering/making Sacred Tools, such as your Crown and Athame.

Rev. Priestess Eden Rumelt is an Embodiment Coach, Ordained Priestess, a Ceremonialist, and a Ritual Performing Artist. Eden holds the vision of women (and all people) accessing embodied empowerment as well as tapping into their inner-source of eternal love. A legally Ordained Reverend Priestess of the Iseum of Quimera (a branch of the Temple of Isis), she is also a professional massage therapist, and has been on the spiritual & transformational path since 1998. Eden has worked closely with Rev. Priestess Anandha Ray since 2015, as a performer in Quimera Ritual Dance and also assisting her in teaching classes, workshops, and retreats.
